5.1. Packaging is charged separately by the supplier and will not be taken back. However, if it is marked as the property of the supplier, it must be returned carriage paid to the supplier’s place of business.
5.2. All deliveries are made at the buyer’s expense and risk. Insurance against damage of any kind is the responsibility of the buyer. Complaints regarding damage, delay or loss must be reported directly by the buyer to the transport company or insurance company within 8 days of receipt of the goods, and any claims must be asserted there.
5.3. If no shipping method is specified when the order is placed, the mode of transport is left to the supplier’s discretion. Packaging will be charged at cost price and will not be taken back. In order to be considered, complaints must be submitted no later than 8 days after receipt of the goods.
5.4. Benefit and risk pass to the buyer at the latest when the goods leave the supplier’s works.
5.5. If shipment is delayed at the buyer’s request or for other reasons for which the supplier is not responsible, the risk passes to the buyer at the time originally intended for delivery ex works. From that point onward, the goods will be stored and insured at the buyer’s expense and risk.
